1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using WealthNest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract. You may record family members and their holdings within your account, but only where you are entitled to hold that information — for example as a parent, spouse or with their agreement. You are responsible for how their information is handled inside your account.

3. Your account

• Give accurate details when signing up and keep them current.
• Keep your password and any sign-in codes to yourself. Activity carried out through your account is treated as yours.
• Tell us at privacy@wealthnest.uk as soon as you suspect unauthorised access.
• One person, one account. Do not share credentials.

4. Not financial advice, and the figures are estimates

This is the most important clause in these terms. WealthNest is a record-keeping and calculation tool. Nothing in it is investment, tax, legal or financial advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

You should understand where the numbers come from before you rely on them:

• Valuations are built from published data such as AMFI net asset values, and from prices and quantities you enter yourself. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
• Returns such as XIRR and CAGR, projections, and goal progress are estimates derived from those inputs. They are not a statement of your actual position and are not a forecast of future performance.
• Imported statements are read automatically. Always check the imported holdings against the original statement — the statement from your registrar, bank or depository is the authoritative record, not this app.

We do not hold, receive, transfer or manage your money or securities, and we cannot execute transactions. Please take advice from a qualified professional before making a financial decision.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Access, or try to access, another person’s account or data.
• Probe, scan or test the security of the service except with our written permission.
• Interfere with the service, overload it, or circumvent rate limits and other protections.
• Scrape it, resell it, or build a competing product from it.
• Upload anything unlawful, or information you have no right to hold.

6. Connected accounts

If you connect a Gmail account, you authorise us to read messages solely to find and import your investment statements. Your use of Google’s services stays subject to Google’s own terms. You may disconnect at any time from within the app or through your Google account settings. We are not responsible for a connected provider changing, restricting or withdrawing access.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond our control, and features may be changed or removed. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — you can export your holdings to CSV at any time.

8. Ownership

The application, its design and its code remain ours. Your data remains yours: you grant us only the permission needed to store, process and display it back to you as part of running the service.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any investment loss, lost profits, lost opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from reliance on any figure it displays. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or is being used to harm others or the service. On closure, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
